A Few Thoughts from the Other Side

Our house is coming out on the other side of infection. Since my brain is coming back online, let me share a bit of what it’s thinking!

Appearances

Low tide in the marsh during winter is not all that glamorous. The prettiest thing about it is the blue sky reflected in the water!

On Display

Tomorrow, March 2, is National Old Stuff Day, so I’ll share just two of the many old things we’ve got displayed around our house.

Low Tide Lesson

Last week’s visit to the snowy beach included wading out onto a few mini sandbars during low tide.

I took the pup to the beach yesterday. It was the perfect day for it! There were only a few people there, and she had the run of the beach. Which meant that she would run about 40 feet ahead, then race back to me like she was going to tackle me, and then at the last moment she would skid around behind me like she was peeling her tires!

Shining Light

We had a heavy snowfall yesterday interspersed with a bit of rain towards the end of the storm, followed by below-freezing temperatures. Early this morning I had to catch the rays of sun lighting up the bright formations created by the quick freeze. What gorgeous, intricate artwork!
