Shining Light

We had a heavy snowfall yesterday interspersed with a bit of rain towards the end of the storm, followed by below-freezing temperatures. Early this morning I had to catch the rays of sun lighting up the bright formations created by the quick freeze. What gorgeous, intricate artwork!

Beach Bums

Our local stretch of shoreline often produces these strange little critters, washed up on the beach and left there as the tide recedes.

“Get Up!”

I was five years old when Bambi hit the theaters (for the fifth time . . . I’ll let you do the math). I don’t even remember what scene hit me too much as a young girl, but my father had to take me out of the theater because “my tummy hurt”!
