A Few of My Favorite Thoughts

This year has been quite the whirlwind for me! From becoming a new (extremely proud) grandparent towards the beginning of 2019 to taking a three-month sabbatical with my husband near the end, I have more than enough reason to be overflowing with thanksgiving. But even if this was not a superb year for me, I would still believe in the goodness of God! He has faithfully seen me through years that were on the other end of the spectrum, and I know He will always do so.

What about you? Can you look back at your year, good or bad, and see God’s hand at work throughout it?

With that in mind, I wanted to share with you five of my favorite thoughts from over 2019.

All of us have been affected by soul erosion of one kind or another, but that doesn’t have to be the end of the story. So what are we to do?

Unfailing

When you see troubling signs in the world around you, remember that there’s more to come. How you respond to alarming days will reveal where your trust lies.

First Impressions

If there are certain people you refuse to associate with because you’ve put them in a particular box, you’re really missing out.

Are You Worth Your Salt?

Joyful Wisdom

“How often do you hear those two words in the same sentence? I must admit, when I think of ‘wisdom,’ the first things that come to mind are anything but joyful. Serious, no-fun, no-frills, and boring…with a long beard attached . . .”

How about you? I’d love to hear about your favorite posts this year! Feel free to share links in the comments below.
