Tuesday Time Travel

I was taken aback by a notification I got yesterday.

It informed me that this blog is six years old this month!! Six years of writing, some years more consistently than others. To celebrate this milestone, I’ll share posts from about this same time each year, starting with the oldest — my very first blog post ever!

Overlooked (May 9, 2015)

If you’re familiar with my writing, you won’t be shocked at all that this first post focused on flowers. That fact alone made me laugh!

Reality Filters (May 9, 2016)

“Replacing the lens of our circumstances with the lens of God’s Word helps us to redefine reality in truth.”

Unexpected Exhibits (April 24, 2017)

Am I an unexpected exhibit of life to those around me?

Mind Your Roots (February 26, 2018)

“Do you have roots that need to be starved out so that fruitful vines may grow instead of thorny ones?”

Hyperfocus (May 23, 2019)

“Our spiritual lives are much like my garden. Keeping the weeds of life from stealing our peace and joy takes vigilance on our part.”

Street (Apri 4, 2020)

This post was written last year during our lockdown, when I was feeling particularly uninspired. Thanks to a writing prompt, inspiration struck!

“What challenges are you facing today that hold within them seeds of opportunity? What will you do with the opportunities that you have been given today?”

Thanks for taking this walk with me down memory lane, friends! And thank you for being part of my journey. Be blessed today!
