On a family trip south one summer a few years ago, my husband and two of our children hiked up Mount Mitchell, the tallest peak east of the Mississippi.

We have no choice in many facets of life. Take today’s weather, for example.

I love watching the sky during my commutes throughout the week. Every day provides a different scene with clouds carried along by invisible air currents. Even on clear, cloudless days the sky contains different hues of blue.

This word surprised me this week! I came across it near the end of a book that finishes up a sci-fi series. Sci-fi though it may be, it was a pretty easy read.
