Seeds. The ultimate goal of every seed-producing plant. Yes, plants make their own food, but they use that energy with the final aim of making seeds. Some produce beautiful flowers, but their aim is not to provide us with something to “ooh” and “aah” over; they are attracting insects for pollination…to produce seeds! Keep Growing!
Last year, my husband decided he wanted to expand his garden. To increase the area receiving direct sunshine, he hired someone to cut down four trees beside our house. This is what all four of them looked like last year. They’re all still out there, taller than I am! But they don’t all look like this anymore. Watching the waves crash over moss-covered rock jetties can be quite relaxing. Walking on wet, moss-covered rocks without falling is quite the feat extraordinaire!
