Here you are!
You believe in God, you believe that His Son, Jesus, came to die for your sins, and hopefully you are living “a life worthy of the calling you have received” (Ephesians 4:1). In living to please God and allowing the fruit of the Spirit to grow (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control~~Galatians 5:22-23), you become inviting to others who may be searching for meaning in this life. But you are not meant to be a lone ranger. Continue reading One Alone, or One of Many?
Rainy days…good, bad, or indifferent? Good for vegetable gardens, flowers, ducks and frogs. If you’re a preschool teacher, they can be the epitome of evilness itself! Those darlings need to get outside and expend as much energy as possible! Continue reading Go Away, or Come Again?
Watching the waves crash over moss-covered rock jetties can be quite relaxing. Walking on wet, moss-covered rocks without falling is quite the feat extraordinaire!

As I sit in the hospital waiting for news from the surgeon operating on my son, I am reminded of the verse that says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8). Coming closer to God opens my eyes to more of who He is, and calms my heart to trust him with my circumstances. I am so thankful for His calming presence right now!
Are you facing a daunting situation? It is not insurmountable for God, nor has it taken Him by surprise. He is fully capable of carrying you through it. He has promised, “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
You are never alone! Come a little closer….
Does anyone have any guesses as to what kind of flower this is? It’s possible you’ve never seen it before, unless you were sitting on the ground looking carefully. It’s difficult to see from a standing position…it’s tiny! I have no idea what kind of flower it is, I’m simply amazed by it. Isn’t it beautiful?
