How can it be time for another roundup already?? However it happened, here we go with our countdown to my blog’s most-liked posts in April.
This was an interesting month, as I joined a few different writing prompt communities and gained a new audience as a result. You’ll see what I mean in our April countdown!
I usually have one tie in my Top Pick list, but this time I have a two-way tie for third place, and a three-way tie for fifth! Here’s how I ranked them. For posts with the same number of likes, I then ranked them by number of comments. So here goes . . .
#5: Rendering

What does “render” mean to the follower of Christ? In this post, I dive into Jesus’ words found in three of the four Gospels: “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
The next three posts were all responses to different Five Minute Friday prompts, which are hosted each week by Kate Motaung. For each prompt, we set a timer for five minutes and free write!
#4: Run: Five Minute Friday Prompt

What weights besides sin are holding us back from the race God has marked out for us?
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us” (Hebrews 12:1 NLT).
#3: Deny: Five Minute Friday Prompt

This post was written as a response to Good Friday.
#2: Explore: Five Minute Friday Prompt

What have you explored lately?
And now for our April winner!
#1: How?
Linda G. Hill hosts a Stream of Consciousness Saturday each week, and encourages us to just write in response to the weekly prompt with minimal planning until we’re done, no matter how long or short our creation is in the end.

In this post I ask a lot of questions, but not one of them keeps me up at night!
